The main task lies in examining three scientific essays on a self chosen subject matter and to present them in a mutual context
Supervision
Supervision is possible as long as the chair exhibits free capacities. Besides, it is highly recommended to at least have attended one seminar at our the chair.
Procedure:
- Students please address a scientific assistant or Professor Dr. Gürtler with self chosen subject matters. The subject matters should lie within the range of the teaching or reseaching areas of the chair. The first meeting with your contact person consists of presenting your ideas.
- Subsequently, student and supervisor mutually try to develop a subject for the thesis based on own literature research, that the supervisor either accepts or adapts based on his or her own judgement
- Once the supervisor determines the subject of the thesis, the student registers the thesis at the chair
Supervisors at our chair are Mr. Prof. Dr. Gürtler for Bachelor- and Masterthesis and Ms. Dr. Fath for Bachelorthesis. The making of the thesis is mentored by the supervisor himself or a scientific assistant at the chair
